Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce                 Serves 4

 1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed

butter cooking spray

salt & pepper to taste

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp balsamic vinegar

 Preheat the oven to 400°

 Arrange the asparagus on a baking sheet. Coat evenly with cooking spray and season with the salt and pepper.

 Bake for 12 minutes or until tender. 

 Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.  Remove from the heat and stir in the soy sauce and balsamic vinegar.  Pour over the asparagus and serve.
